The inside is lined with a silk like fabric which my daughter loves and she immediately falls asleep. I was also after something that would cover her arms whilst she was sleeping throughout the day and the zip allows me to either have her arms out or in. From the moment I put my daughter in this, she snuggles down into a deep sleep. Highly recommend :).
