Looking at videos and demos I was looking forward to playing with these with my son (13m). He enjoys playing with these but I have some reservations hence 4 stars not 5.1 of the 5 pipes, the spinning cog does not turn from the force of water alone – although you can spin it by hand.We have these stuck on the side of the bath not on the wall nor window – maybe the slight angle from the bath is effecting the flow of the water and thus impacting the spinning cog? maybe I just need to loosen the cog by being forceful with the connecting parts – but given the pictures etc showed the items working fine placed on the side of the bath – I’m abit disappointed.BONUS – I also bought the cogs – similar thoughts. They work well, but the cog with buckets.. it doesn’t turn freely when the buckets are filled with water. Again maybe the slight angle of the bath side but then the marketing pictures etc are abit off.I had grand plans to build a big network of pipes and cogs but now I won’t bother and will instead look at marble runs.These (pipes and cogs) are fun but not as good as I was expecting.BONUS – My neighbour has a 14m old boy. They used the cogs on an airplane (sticking onto the window) and apparently this was a hit with their son. So good for non-wet play..

Bradley Gray Can’t build with them You can’t build with them, in that they don’t fit together as I expected. But you can space them out and run water from one to the other.One of the ones with the rotor (clear/white plastic, angled spout) was too stiff for the water to turn it. But he likes playing with them..
