Peggy Rhodes Gowns for a newborn – Good Idea! I found these baby gowns, after a search, because of my own experiences with the gowns that had a drawstring bottom. These gowns were easy to use with my own babies. While the design now has elastic at the bottom, that is Ok, too. I ordered socks separately in case the baby kicks out. It is just a lot easier to change a diaper with the gowns – no struggling with legs in and out of the legs of the one pieces things and no snapping, snapping, snapping. I think the gowns are especially good for newborns..
