Charlene Reynald-Bonner Kids will LOVE it. Parents, not so much. Great and versatile toy for kids. My 2.5 year old boy was SUPER EXCITED by this toy. It’s a whale on a ufo (so random!) but there were definitely shrieks of delight from my son when it went zooming across the room! (FYI – it’s not good on carpet, just spins in circles). The whale part of the toy comes off and goes into the bath and on contact with water, it spouts water through the holes at the top and flashes colourful lights, which my son also loved. It’s gets a five stars for my son’s reaction to it but PARENTS BEWARE of 2 major things:1. Both the whale and the ufo each require 3 triple A batteries that does not last long BECAUSE THERE IS NO OFF SWITCH, once it’s in the water it’s on (The batteries in the whale lasted about a week, no joke!)2. The ufo plays a VERY loud repetitive song when it’s zooming around and although there is an off switch on the actual ufo this just stops it from moving around but THERE IS NO VOLUME CONTROL. There is also no option to turn the music off without turning the toy off and the loud repetitive song is GUARANTEED to drive any parent nuts. No joke..
Mrs R There’s stuff not explained, so here you go! I bought this as a bath toy for my kids and they love it. The instructions are very limited so here goes. You need the top whale part only for use in the bath. It is really good. The water sprays well and the whale changes colours. It’s fun to flick the lights off for a bit if your kids are old enough. I’ve not tried it with the bottom part, mostly because my kids would be too old for that at 4 and 7. What you do need to know if you’re planning on using it on the floor with the bottom part that rolls around, it that it plays The Witch Doctor *incredibly* loudly and there doesn’t appear to be a music-less option. I’d have been happy just to have the whale bit!.
Rebecca Manning opened it and bottom bit has broken it only has one wheel,everything else works fine. Love the sounds just gutted that a bits snapped.
