When I go to do any outdoor pursuits like horse riding, abseiling etc and the venue provides hard hats I have to go to the toddler section to find a suitable hat my size. Sometimes I have to wear baby hats that are evidently baby artwork on them or pink etc.Anyway this hat is exactly the size they have advertised. I would slightly adjust the size to 48 to 54. being 52cm – 53cm myself it was quite tight enough and another cm would be ok, but 54cm pushing it and no more than that unless you want to stretch the wool.Ss for the depth of it, that is another problem faced by people like me with a small head or a child. It is not deep. it was perfect and for all the circumferences they say about, the depth isn’t stupid like tight around the head but stupid height and loose.It has a woollen, interesting external look with fleece inside.All in all, 5 stars and perfect. Not childish, not masculine, not feminine. Just warm, stylish, well made, small, unisex and no particular age group which is rare as it took me ages to find this item.if you want it to look more feminine then pimp it up with something feminine and sew it on..

Raymond Warm and good fit. Used for an adult to play golf and the fit was perfect and beanie is very warm and a cosy fit, perfect..
