She’sa small girl, not 2 for a while and i definitelythink it will last until she is at least nearly 3. The 18-24 wouldn’t have lasted long even though she is small. It is most definitely water proof at least on the inside lol. She peed through her nappy and it ran down her trousers, not through the outfit! I’d definitely size up. Over all it’s worth the money..
